Keluarga Alumni Teknik Tenaga Listrik – DTE FTUI, Kagatrik UI, bekerjasama dengan EPES UI (Electric Power & Energy Studies DTE-FTUI) dan ILUNI UI, telah menyelenggarakan seminar nasional tentang ketenagalistrikan. Seminar yang melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan itu berlangsung pada Selasa, 5 Desember 2017, pukul 8.00-14.00 WIB di Auditorium MRPQ, DTE FTUI, kampus UI Depok.
Seminar itu bertopik “Tinjauan Kinerja Sektor Ketenagalistrikan dalam Mewujudkan Tarif Listrik yang Terjangkau dan Berkeadilan.” Seminar itu memang dipicu antara lain oleh isu penyederhanaan penggolongan tarif listrik PLN, yang sempat muncul dan diramaikan di media. Padahal secara sederhana yang dimaksud adalah penggratisan biaya penambahan daya.
Hadir dalam seminar itu narasumber dari pihak Kementerian ESDM dan penyedia listrik nasional PT PLN (Persero), yang memaparkan kebijakan dan pandangan mereka. Nara sumber adalah: I Made Suprateka, MM., Kepala Satuan Komunikasi Korporat PT PLN (Persero); Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa dari EPES UI; Ir. Jarman, MSc., mantan Dirjen Ketenagalistrikan Kementerian ESDM, yang juga Ketua Dewan Pembina Kagatrik UI; dengan moderator Ir. Rully Firmansyah, MM.
Menjadi keynote speaker adalah Dr. Ir. Andy N Sommeng, DEA., Dirjen Ketenagalistrikan Kementerian ESDM RI, yang berhalangan hadir dan diwakili oleh Sekretaris Direktorat Jenderal Ketenagalistrikan Agoes Triboesono.
Menjadi panelis adalah: Berly Martawardaya, SE, MSc, PhD (Cand) dari FEB UI/ Direktur Program INDEF; Ir. I Made Ardita, MT (FTUI), dan Ir. Adi FN, MT (Kagatrik UI). Dirut PT PLN (Persero) Dr. (HC) Sofyan Basir, yang diundang untuk jadi narasumber, berhalangan hadir karena sedang melakukan kunjungan dinas ke China.
Seminar ini berlangsung lancar, diikuti oleh sekitar 100 peserta mewakili mahasiswa, utusan perusahaan swasta, dan para pemangku kepentingan yang berkaitan dengan sektor ketenagalistrikan. Sempat hadir juga Dekan baru FTUI, Dr. Ir. Hendri D.S. Budiono M.Eng., IPM.
Seminar ketenagalistrikan ini diharapkan bisa mempertemukan berbagai pemikiran instansi, institusi, korporasi dan masyarakat. Seminar ini menghasilkan rekomendasi, yang diharapkan dapat dijadikan acuan oleh pemangku kepentingan, dalam menerapkan kebijakan kelistrikan. Salah satunya berupa upaya bersama dalam mewujudkan tarif listrik yang berkeadilan dan berkelanjutan. ***
